COVID-19

Your Visit

With your safety and for your peace of mind, we’ve had to make a few changes in the way we operate, meaning your experience when dining with us might be a little different, BUT nevertheless to our extremely high standards.

 

We will ensure that we endeavour to adhere to all guidelines set out by the government and the team will constantly monitor these guidelines to ensure that we go above and beyond to create a safe environment for your visit to our restaurant.

We ask that our guests familiarise themselves with and adhere to the latest government guidelines when visiting The Old Stamp House.

All guests are encouraged to make a reservation online and ensure that their contact details (email and phone number) are correct. Guests’ details will be recorded in accordance with government guidelines and to assist in the test and trace process.

 

Online and phone reservations will be taken for tables of up to a maximum of 6 guests. This is to ensure  we continue to deliver the same consistent high levels of service our guests expect.

Our Restaurant

We have provided hand sanitising stations within the restaurant for the use of guests as they enter the building.

 

We have conducted a thorough risk assessment in relation to the size and configuration of our restaurant and have adjusted our layout accordingly to facilitate social distancing, in accordance with current government guidelines

Guests are asked to adhere to the latest government guidelines relating to face coverings.

Service

 

We offer table service only.

 

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we kindly ask you to sanitise your hands. Hand sanitisers are placed in multiple location of the restaurant, so please feel free to make use of this during your time with us in addition to frequent and regular hand washing.

 

Seating areas in the restaurant have been arranged to ensure maximum safe distancing is maintained in line with current government guidance. Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, and other surfaces will be sanitised after each use.

Menus are available on our website and in-house single use paper copies will be available at The Old Stamp House.

Our bathroom facilities will be open, but you must maintain social distancing at all times and please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly.

Cleaning

Appropriate personal protective equipment will be worn by all team members and changed frequently.

All touch points in public areas such as door handles, counter tops, tabletops, soft seating etc. will be sanitised throughout the day using accredited disinfectants and sanitising products.

Washroom facilities will be cleaned on a regularly and each is equipped with appropriate hand sanitising measures

 

Protocols are in place for staff in our kitchen and restaurant to sanitise their hands every time they serve food or touch food related items.

 

We have complied with the government guidelines for the management of risk of Covid-19. We have additional cleaning regimens in place in accordance with the latest guidelines. We have taken reasonable steps to maintain a safe distance in the workplace in line with current guidelines and where staff and guests cannot maintain social distance, we have done everything we can to minimise the risk.

 

Safety

 

If a guest or any of their party are feeling unwell, especially if they have a high temperature, a new persistent cough or a loss of taste or smell; or if anyone in their party think they may have been exposed to the virus in the past 14 days; guests are asked to contact our team to cancel their booking.
